Keeping your dog hydrated on long walks and hikes is essential, even if it's not super hot out. With these portable water bowls, you can feel keep your dog from getting thirsty while enjoying your time together. Protecting your dog's paws is extremely important. Whether it be rough terrain, thorns, or rocks — sharp materials can definitely cause your canine some discomfort. After a morning walk in the brisk, fall air, let your dog relax on a cozy and comfortable dog bed. They’ll sleep better and warm up faster if they have a particularly fluffy bed they love. Treat yourself to a cup of hot apple cider while they are treated to a quick nap.
Warm Dog Blankets
During an especially cold day, your dog may prefer a heated, warm area to snuggle up in. A fluffy blanket can be just the right type of comfort to leave on the floor or drape over a couch. Plus, if they're damp from a walk or after a bath, rolling around in a soft blanket can help them dry off and warm up.
Dog Sweaters
Celebrate the true wardrobe of fall with your canine companion. Put them in a fuzzy sweater before heading out for a walk or for a quick adventure to your local farmer's market to keep them cozy. They're also amazing for an adorable photo op — as long as your pup keeps it on.
Dog Leashes
The cool fall weather and foliage make it a great time for long nature walks. It's also a good idea to refresh your worn-out summer leash. A durable or reflective leash can be a great option, and be sure to give your dog plenty of slack so you can practice heeling together. A long, durable, and effective leash can last for years, too.
Heating Pads
Take off your canine's coat and have them snuggle up on a small, pet-safe heating pad. They give off just the right amount of heat (not too hot!), especially if you like to keep the windows open or go camping. While some heating pads are electric others have insulation that makes them self-warming.
Travel Dog Carriers
Whether you're taking a road trip or planning an outdoor camping trip, keep your dog safe with a pet carrier. Some carriers are wearable while others include comfortable pads, but your four-legged friend will thank you for adding one of these splurges to your list.
Dog Seat Covers
As much as we love taking our dogs on outdoor adventures, we don't love all the mud, leaves, and sticks they drag into our cars. Instead of washing down your interior after a hike, invest in a dog-friendly seat cover for your own car. They'll be more comfortable and a little less messy.
Dog Houses
Now that the unbearable and dangerous heat is behind us, your dog can enjoy some extra time in the backyard. Why not elevate their hang ut space with their very own dog house? You’re sure to catch them curled up inside their own humble abode surrounded by some picturesque fall foliage.
